Teen Parent Lifeline addresses the challenges that come with teenage pregnancy and parenting. Whether you are currently pregnant or raising a small child, this program is for you! The Teen Parent Lifeline program offers you the support you need while connecting you with a community of other parents in the same situation. We are here to help you every step of the way.
This program helps both mothers and fathers. Anyone age 21 or under that is pregnant or parenting a small child (birth – 1 year) is welcome. Lifeline has tailored the program to meet the specific needs of each participant regardless of the stage they may be in their parenting journey.
Moms and dads receive one-on-one education and support through weekly appointments. They also participate in monthly group sessions with other program participants. This helps build a community of peer support and understanding. Teen Parent Lifeline emphasizes positive parenting practices as well as goal setting, education, and plans for the future.
Like all Lifeline services, this teen parenting program is offered at no cost. It also coordinates with Lifeline’s PLANS program and Dadline program, allowing new moms and dads to earn supplies for their baby or toddler while learning valuable parenting skills. The Teen Parent Lifeline program is supported by the Children’s Trust Fund of Missouri.
