Pure Freedom Memorandum of Understanding

  • The following Memorandum of Understanding shall be between the Pure Freedom program and the above school district. The Pure Freedom program has been providing sexual risk avoidance education services to over fifty schools across Northeast Missouri for the past ten years with dynamic results. The Pure Freedom program provides sexual abuse prevention training in accordance with the DESE requirements in RSMo §170.045. The purpose of this agreement is to commit that the aforementioned school will host the program for grades 6th-12th for the academic years of 2021-2024 and agree to the following:

    The following Memorandum of Understanding shall be between the Pure Freedom program and the above school district. The Pure Freedom program has been providing sexual risk avoidance education services to over fifty schools across Northeast Missouri for the past ten years with dynamic results. The Pure Freedom program provides sexual abuse prevention training in accordance with the DESE requirements in RSMo §170.045. The purpose of this agreement is to commit that the aforementioned school will host the program for grades 6th-12th for the academic years of 2021-2024 and agree to the following:
  • Pure Freedom Responsibilities

    As such, the Pure Freedom program shall: 1) Coordinate and schedule presentations with the school 2) Provide a certified educator to lead all class sessions 3) Provide all required handouts and information 4) Conduct program evaluation and provide access to evaluation information as requested 5) Provide all services of the program free of charge 6) Provide parent opt-out forms at least two weeks prior to student class sessions.
  • School District Responsibilities

    In return, the aforementioned school shall: 1) Schedule appropriate dates to host the student program for all students grades 6-12 2) Coordinate dates for a parent informational webinar and staff professional development session 3) Ensure opt-out forms are sent home at least one week prior to the student program start date 4) Encourage students to complete the take-home activities of the program 5) Provide an appropriate classroom/location for the programs to be conducted 6) Allow participants to participate in a pre- and post-survey with results published anonymously.
